Skillish People is about real-world skills and habits, creativity, movement, and fulfilling connections with our selves, each other, and the world around us.

Skillish People was born during Covid, when my kids were being taught how to wash their hands properly, and I found myself thinking, “what other skills could we all learn to do better?” It snowballed from there.

It wasn’t until later in life that I started to look after myself better, both physically and mentally. I often found myself wishing I had started sooner. The habits I’ve been putting into action aren’t just life skills — they are the foundations of a healthy, capable, and fulfilling life, for children and adults alike.

This project brings together the skills, habits, and ways of thinking that I wish I’d been taught earlier, and that I now try to live by. It’s practical, imperfect, and rooted in the real world.

Skillish People isn’t about being better than anyone else. It’s about learning, practice, and living well — together.

Learning how to live well, together.

The book Skillish People is coming soon.
